Aluminum composite board a basic guide

All you need to know about the aluminum-composite-board

Aluminum Composite Panels and How Is the Raw Material Obtained

Aluminum is considered the most common element that is commonly seen to be found in the crust of the earth. It is located in various silicates, usually extracted from the mineral known as bauxite. It is a passive rock that has a high content of aluminum in it. Thus, being metals and having characteristics of metal, it is low in density and shows resistance against corrosion. These features make it an excellent valuable conductor for various industrial processes. The premium quality aluminum composite board is now seen to be produced in China, which is known as the industry leader for producing 600,000 metric tons of aluminum annually.

Main Characteristics of Aluminum

Along with the usual and regular uses, various other characteristics make it look like a mirror, as it has specific optical properties. The products that are made up using aluminum, whether they are in the form of containers, cans, or aluminum foil, are the products that are seen to be used even for domestic purposes as well, and the alloys of the same metals are used in industrial applications as they fit into diverse sectors of the automotive industry, telephony or construction. This is because aluminum is a material that can easily be combined with other materials in the form of bricks used in composite panels.

Uses Of Aluminum Composite Panels

It is a type of product that is most commonly seen to be used for ventilation purposes, in the style of coating systems that are in the form of several layers that not only helps in solving the insulation of buildings as they exhibit thermal behaviors and properties that they achieve. However, the most interesting fact about the ventilated façade is that it creates a chimney effect between the existing layers. The chimney continues to work so that ventilation in the camber maintains a stable temperature, resulting in excellent energy efficiency. Compared to the systems that have been used conventionally, thus, during the summertime period as the heat is evacuated, and the air that is being circulated is renewed. However, in winter, the air circulation is slowed down. Thus, it preserves heat.

Properties of Aluminum Composite Board

It is a product that is highly versatile. Thus, it is seen to be used in various applications as it has been constantly improving in colors, assembly, transformation, and operations. Its versatility can be noticed by the fact that it can be seen to be used in both the minor works and the interiors combined with other materials that are used to cover certain area transformations of a façade or in the form of the main elements that are used in case of complicated changes. Among various features of it, a few are as follows:

A multitude of finishes

A wide range of finishes that are available in these aluminum composite panels allows it a great aesthetic versatility as it is seen to be available in various finishes ranging from solid to textured, mirror or wooden; the composite panels can be seen to be adapted in almost all the type of projects.

Quick and Easy Assembly

A hanging system is designed to assemble the aluminum composite panels; these are specifically designed to facilitate the assembly on facades in a way that is quicker and less complicated, the same way in the case of a damaged cassette, it can be replaced very quickly.

Impact Resistant

According to recent studies and research, the durability and long life of the building facades result from the resistance against wear and corrosion.

Lighter in Terms of Weight

The low density of aluminum makes it a very light material in terms of weight. Thus, the material's light weight makes it an ideal product that could be used for substructure systems on ventilated facades.

Composite Panel Types

FR

FR or fire retardant panels are the most commonly used panels that are famous because they contain an interior fire retardant core made using thermoplastic resin with a charge in minerals.

A2

In the case of the A2 panel, these panels are non-combustible as they are based on mineral core developments to meet the highest regulatory requirements of fire classification.
